Default Need more belt wrap.

Ok Maggie guys, I need some help here. I have a M112 with a 3.0 pulley on my 2002 5.3 that is installed in my Monte, A few months ago I made a post about belt slip and upgraded to a HD tensioner and installed a new gatorback belt but I still am making rubber all over the accessory area. After I did that I took the car on a 2200 mile road trip and I cant hear any squeal but the signs are there.

If anyone who has added another pulley to help with belt wrap and eliminate the slip can chime in on how they did it or someone who makes a bolt on kit it would be greatly appreciated.

You should get 100 mm idler pullies, also get rid of the gator back and try a gates HD green belt , or even a dayco polycog.

Also one of the members here made a nice idler bracket to help with belt wrap , I think it was Gadgetized.

To an extent they were, I didn't want to bump that up.

I was looking more specifically for a parts listing on what was used as far as pulley sizes and spacers to add the additional pulley to the snout support bracket.

I already have the idlers and HD tensioner.
