need help with my twin turbo 5.3!!!
#1
ok so im trying to build a twin turbo setup for my '03 5.3L chev scsb. I want to run about 10 psi and not exceed the stock rpm limit. I would probably favour more response to max high rpm power (it is a raised 4x4 with a little larger tires). i had got a bunch of t04 cores and took them to a guy to build me two good ones but got f*cked (he was broke, spent my down payment, sold some of my parts). Now seven months later i finally got a box of what's left back but need some help on housing and wheel sizes. The compressors are 0.60 a/r housings and by my figuring have 56 trim wheels - Would this be about right? On the exhaust side i have .58 a/r on-center housings for "O" trim wheels BUT i only have "P" trim wheels(he was planning on machining out the housings). Should i just find some "O" trim wheels or machine the housings? Or should i not have been such a tight *** and bought new turbos in the first place, haha!

Time and money lost, hmm new turbos might have been a better layout. Not to mention if those units would have been put together you never know if they would have been done right. Several companies sell turbos and give them warranties if something in the turbo brakes.

ON centers are none for not being efficient, but if you are already built, buy a couple and bolt them up. Twins on a 5.3 you can give up some the fact that you have 2 will make up the difference.
