Question NBS Downpipe help

So this weekend I knocked out all the motor work on my truck. I swapped cams, valve train, and head studs. At this point I'm ready to get rolling on the rest of my build, turbo kit and fuel system. That being said, I have some downpipe issues in need to get sorted out.

I have a Huron Speed Turbo kit with the Gen 2 VS racing 78/75. The outlet on the turbo is 4" and the kit comes with a 3" downpipe. Now I figured I could just get a 4" to 3" adapter and call it a day, that would work other than the wastegate is mated between the manifold and downpipe. So the adapter is causing a spacing issue for the wastegate to bolt up.

I figured I have a few options:
-Shorten the downpipe and weld on 4" adapter
- Run 3" downpipe with adpater and run dump tube off wastegate
-Find someone who makes or can fab a 4" downpipe then also run dump tube off waste gate.

Hopefully the picture will help visualize what I'm trying to explain. Any input? I'd like to use the downpipe that came with the kit as it seems quality and looks nice. Let me know your guys input.

Thanks

Any recommendations for a builder or company?

You can try our 4” downpipe, email me and I’ll get you a good price and we can work it out if it doesn’t fit up. It is for a s400 turbo, curious how it fits with the VS 4” housing

My vote is to give Superman09 a shot with his offer of the 4" DP. Those guys have gone above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my turbokit from them.

Yes, I got a 4 in downpipe from Jon at Huron speed. It’s meant for a s400. As of now everything lines up and fits. Just waiting to see if I have a good seal between the DP and turbine housing outlet. I’ll post a picture here later.
