Default Mystery Hose

Bought a huge lot of stainless braided hose off ebay that was advertised as -6 AN hose. Was going to use it for fuel and already has ends on it. But when I got it yesterday I saw that it has metal fittings instead of aluminum and the OD of the braid is 1/2" instead of 5/8" Hose ends are -6 but what is this stuff made of inside? MFG is SSP. Markings on it are SSP 316 TZQ. SSP usually does instrument mfg to my knowledge. Safe for Fuel?
