I see.Surprised though. I know Mikes 408ci runs a T88 on a T4 flange and we push it without problems.I figured your's would work the same.

i called Rick Head today (formerly of innovative). he said the backpressure has something to do with the wheel. no idea what that means but....


anywho, anyone know where i can get 8 rib pulleys for my engine? not the harmonic balancer but everything else.

i think march makes a kit as well for about the same price...saw an add in Chev Hi Po for them I think. R/

yup, innovative west makes the harmonic balancer or crank pulley or damper or whatever it's officially called. BUT, w2w thinks ATI will hook me up with one since i already have a superdamper on my truck. I'm in need of all the other pulleys and maybe some form of tensioner. i know sdce makes a 8 rib setup for the procharger. I'm waiting to hear back from them.

sure wish the truck had stayed with sdce instead of going to turbozone all that time ago, lol. i kick myself daily over that decision. wow. idiot.

ATI's truck 8 rib balancer is 2% underdrive as compared to stock diameter... not really a big deal BUT going with an Innovators West Balancer (larger diameter) allows you to stay away from relatively small blower pulleys. At some point even 8 rib is inneffective when blower pulley diameter is reduced too much.

ATI has worked with grippy on the power steering pulley getting that done.

I would PM grippy on 8-rib

Put your current balancer up for sale in the classified's, IMO.

you need something truck specific in the power steering pulley, i.e. larger ID than the car stuff. ATI makes that for our trucks. the other pulleys should fit just fine, however, if you do a search I have already test fit the pulleys you'll need to run, up to you.

And like Bill said, if you go with the IW crank damper/pulley you'll need a special bolt/spacer/washer combo.
