Mine cleared the valve covers and the new springs seem to have fixed the problem. Wont know for sure until we hit the dyno.

speaking of valve covers, mine were thrashed. the rockers were tearing them apart. I had spacers installed at W2W.

i dont think stock rockers can hurt a valve cover. maybe with a huge cam but i dont think so.

If they were hitting the covers you have a whole different problem. I am pretty sure the LS1 rockers are the same as the truck, someone correct me if I am wrong.

WTF is that under your rockers?
**edit** just noticed you are using ETP heads, do they require a spacer? If so that is why the rockers are hitting the covers.

the turbo has been deemed the issue. Kurt seems to think the bearings are gone. He sent it to Precision so they can set me up with something that will bolt into the current location without too much modding. initial thought was GT4276. We'll see. That turbo was purchased used and could possibly have been damaged this whole time. Who knows. ugh

every time I see this post pop up I just cringed,
I just think what other problems is this poor guy going to have.
I am sorry you have had such a hard time with this build.
When I have something simple go wrong I get discouraged, I can't imagine how you feel.
Good Luck,
Mark
