Default My Jegs oil separators and...

my quest for no crankcase pressure under boost. I bought 2 of the Jegs oil separators, one to put inline with the procharger inlet that draws air from the pass side valve cover and installed the other inline with the pcv system. I hope this will keep any oil from being drawn into the procharger, intercooler and MAF sensor and also help keep the intake cleaner. Dont know if these will work but we will find out, thay were cheap, 40 bucks each. I also installed a check valve in the pcv hose to ensure when under boost, there is no build up of crankcase pressure and just to make sure added a breather to the oil fill neck.

Thumbs up

Nice.
Now someone needs to make an oil fill cap that twists off that has the breather made onto it.

What brand/part number did you use for the check valve? I know it's a simple piece, but I've looked all over and cant find one

Nice work, I'll be following this to see the results you get.
I used a check valve that was really meant for an EVAP system, it rated for exhaust parts so I figured it would be heavy duty enough to handle the oil fumes too.
I may be getting rid of my ulgly *** home made oil seperators if yours works out. You can see my check valve in-line after the last can in the system.

Would you get better ring seal by putting the oil cap back on in place of the breather since it should create some negative pressure in the crankcase? I'd be interested to see if the setup works as it is...keep us updated, very interested
