About 98% sure it's a low fuel deal. With just dropping the pump in the bucket it doesn't work the way the factory designed it ( the stock pumps fills the bucket so you can get every drop out of the tank). I have the same setup for fuel and what you described happened to me once. I just don't let it drop below the last hash mark on the gauge.

I would recommend trying a inline boost-a-pump like the ones that magna charger sells. That is what I ran on my truck.

What's your fuel pressure when it cuts out? That will tell you right away if its a fuel pump/pickup issue.

Just purchased fuel pressure gauge, however it happens so quick I dont know if it will catch it. Any body know what the deal is with the diff psi bovs? I get compressor surge at any boost level unless I really get in it. I also think something may be wrong with the turbo, when I just give it a little bit of gas off idle I hear a weird tink tink tink sound. Have no idea what it is so back to the drawning board with this thing.

its not the bov it is the wastegate spring. You need to get a stronger, longer spring for sts so it will lower the minimum boost level. I think they are like $30 or something. that will help with the excessive boost, which might prevent you from having to change the fuel system any more.

On the issue with your BOV. If you have a Tial BOV the 11 psi spring is for engine vacuum of 17-21in/hg or close to that. If you engine vacuum at idle is less than that you should get the 9 psi spring for 13-16. The valve will pop easier with the lighter spring when comming off the throttle. Also, don't hold me to those vacuum numbers, they are off the top of my head. You can get the actual data from Tial's web sight I believe. But that is definately the issue with your BOV not blowing off. Spring is too strong.

Also, I have tuned a handfull of FI trucks and have also run accross the low fuel lean out. Avalanches and Escalade EXT,ESV's are the worst. You have to keep over 1/2 a tank in them even with the fuel can drilled. The tank is too long and narrow. But seeing that you are at part throttle I would say that it is in your tune. It takes some G's to get the tank lean out.
