My first STS problem.
#1
Well last night I got just a street tune to get the truck on the road. The problem is when I put my foot in it, say no more than 60 percent, it builds boost instantly like in the low rpms, then it kinda cuts out slightly so I get out of it right a way. I dont know what is causing the cut out problem. Its not huge cut out it just stumbles when the boost is coming on. I think Matt said this bov is an 11 psi. Whats up with the different psi bovs? I do get compressor surge so Im wondering if the bov is at too high of psi to actuate it. I need some thoughts on the cutting out thingy. The timing is pulled and the fuel is there so maybe plugs? I have tr6s gapped at .032. Hmmmmm..........

No KR for sure. My fuel level is low due to me letting it go down while the truck was sitting for the sts install. Maybe Ill put some gas in it and see if it helps. I did not modify my bucket in any way. I just slapped the filter on it and dropped it in. My tuner said that he threw more fuel at it with the last tune so, Ill try some of the advice and post up when I find it. I havent gone wot yet so I dont know if it does it then. Maybe ill throw some gas in it and give it the ole wot. If it starts cutting out then Ill just lift.

Definetly sounds like not enough fuel to me too. I had the same issue before upgrading my fuel injectors and it was overboosing a little. Wastegate frezzing was causing that but the end result sounds exactly like what you are experiencing. As soon as I fixed my over boosting and did my injectors, new tune all was well.
What are your fuel system upgrades as of now?

Guess I should have read your sig better.
Your trans is an auto right? The BOV would not affect anything even if it wasn't working right...hmmmm this sounds more like an issue in the tank like your thinking. Did you do any mods to the pumps basket? I think some here have had issues with not enough fuel flow when the tank was low and the fuel sloshed around some.
Just thinking out loud.
Forget the basket question, didn't see that either.
