Those are a few of that are in the same arena, however the medium shown in the one pick will break down fairly quick, especially once cleaned with a caustic or semi caustic leaning agent.

The others without knowing what the filtering medium is, if any it is hard too say.
Our design's are the ones too watch (canisters) they will be ones best bet.

The compressor type are a short term fix from what we have seen,, again the filtering medium is what fails for one reason or another.

It was too easy to mount it to the brake booster ... no reason really other than to tie directly into the j-tube / drivers side valve cover line. I guess you can mount it where you want... but I would think hose length might need to be kept as short as possible.

Could be good,,again it really breaks down to a few things,
The right amount of air flow
How one prevents oil scaling
Filtering Medium
Cosmetics
Cost
Etc.

from what I've read(now) some sort of scrubber material is needed to seperate the oil and leave it in the catch can:

"The Greddy catch can, much like most catch cans on the market, isn't baffled. This means that oil filled gases flow into the catch can and right back out into your intake system. You need to add some sort of way to make the the gas condense so that the oil stays in the catch can. This can be done by stuffing the can with some stainless steel scouring pads or medium to coarse steel wool. I added a short piece of 3/8" pipe on the inside of the catch can on the outlet side going back to the intake so that the hot gases would be forced to flow through the baffling material"

Bill, this looks similar to your setup minus the one way valves:
