it is not a funciton of the pump, it is the placement...... Dont worry Kevin, if your pump is installed it is working....The issue is with the 4x4 not the 2wd....you have nothing to worry about.

Looks who's talking?

I was prepared to leave this alone, but the horse keeps getting beaten - by you two.

You might want to consider the man who's thread you're polluting, over your own selfish agendas.

We have been considering the man who's thread WE are all polluting....I have been working with him every chance I get...He is a very nice guy who seems to be cooperative and willing to work the problem out.

yikes...this went down hill fast...listen, everyone has problems, what matters is how you handle the problem, the folks at Magnacharger are handling things fine. Am I happy that install didn't go as planned, no, but, I'm happy to work the problem out w/ their instructions and to help by sending more pictures or talking about it on the phone and Magnacharger is obviously willing to help to get it installed in my truck and to update thier instructions for future sales on applications like mine.
As far as the pump is concerned, I am now taking everyones advice and being carefur, however, I would go as far as saying that the pump is not needed, it is another facet of all things Magnacharger does to make sure everything that can be done, is done, to support the supercharger. I have seen another whole thead about how "conservative" Magnacharger is, and frankly, that is one of the main reasons why I chose this kit...I want more, reliable, power (to beat a stock Lightning ) and w/ the fuel pump and about 8-9 pounds of boost, I think I'll be there, reliably!

Damon, when you are back on the dyno, give us a call. With the tuner you can make adjustments. What was the afr with our tuner. AS far as vacuum, he has a camshaft and the superchips tuner is not calibrated for the cam at idle. Vacuum should be more stable with our program in. Anyways, if you call with info we should be able to make some adjustments to see what happens. Joe

I would be interested in seeing what it dynos with the converter locked. I think the numbers would be more in line of what you were expecting.

I know my baseline was done the same way, so it would not really count...are you saying that when you force the gear in efilive (or some other software) it is "locked"?
Thanks,
Damon
