I doubt my 2b is anything like your yank. My 2b is looser than my old pt3600.

As for the weight, I can put it on a scale if you are concerned about it.

As far as the runs go, this truck has only had 5 1/4 mile passes and none of them have been a clean pass. The 121 mph pass I went down the entire track at 5* of timing (I have the log to show it) due to IATs exceeding 200 degrees. That was at the truck shootout where I sat idling out in the field for 3 hours in line just to get into the damn track.

re-read my post. I said the 1b would be similar to my Yank...
It's surprising to hear the 2b is looser than the yank 3600 was. Did you have all the same mods you have now with the PT, or are you pushing more power?

I have no doubt thats true. I have often wondered what my truck would feel like with a nice drag tire and a full tilt 1/4 pass in 2wd... if it was possible.

Granted I may not be making quite the power you were for your best trap speed run, but I had a 118.54 with a race weight of 5350 (I had it on a scale... so I know exactly what it was) and the AWD drag.

5000 seems heavy for your truck being an ECSB 2wd. How confident are you in that weight? I would think my truck being a 4x4 CCSB Denali would be a hell of a lot more heavy than a mere 350# over your earlier model truck which is generally lighter.
my truck before i tore into it was 46xx without me in it....fully loaded 2wd with T56 and 14 bolt

extra cabs are heavier

my gmt900 truck comes in right at 6000lbs

hell Atomic and Jared are both RCsb 4wd and they are 4900lbs

Atomic and Jared are 4x4. Your truck comin in at 4600 is really portly for a 2wd. Did you have extra **** in there? Nice power seats, etc? And your 900 is far from stock. It LOOKS like it weighs 6000 lbs. that's not a surprise.

Kurt's RCSB with an 80e, procharger, the entire cab dynamatted, leather seats, and a subwoofer came in at 4560 with him in it.

I'm just sayin 350 less than my race weight isnt a lot when you're talking about all the extra **** my truck has, the heavier can config, and 4x4 equip. Granted I have removed bumper and hitch in favor of a roll pan, and I race without my gate, but still.

my 900 before the 14bolt and 20s came in at 5680 without me and 1/4 tank of gas and that is with an aluminum block motor

my truck used to be a LS truck which was fully loaded, it did have leather seats, twin turbo setup, full exhaust

and as for GMCtruck he is right they are 3-400lbs heavier then a rcsb
