Damn, I thought you meant after the turbo as well. Before the mullfer could work if it was a chambered design but like Chris said, I would be worried about pieces of the muffler/slag whatever getting into the turbo.

One thing I noticed with my magnaflow was that with it on, the part throttle boost response seemed better than with the muffler off. The top end charge seemed a bit better with the muffler off but overall it really didn't feel much different at WOT. I just took it off at the track because it sounded cool. LOL

The tailpipe is like the stock one already, I'll look for some sort of straight through muffler.

Cool

I put a 14" Flo-Pro 2.5" Dual in/2.5" Single out before my turbo. I was going to put a larger magnaflow but it would have meant removing the cats which I thought might make it even louder. I did the Flo-Pro because it was what the shop I used carried and a lot cheaper than a similar Magnaflow. The Flo-Pro is a chambered design with no interior packing of any sort and I was a little worried about harming performance. I took it out and ran it on the G-Tech and gained .17 on the run from 14.368 to 14.198. I cannot notice any difference in performance and the G-Tech says it is faster.

The truck is almost to stock sound levels. Well it is louder than stock and sounds very good in my opinion. I has a nice deep rumble to it which is not noticable inside and you can barely hear it at cruise with the stereo off. I like it.

Might even be too quiet for a lot of people.

What was the overall length of your muffler and do you know the part number? I was also looking at one of these Spintech

The Flo-Pro I used was a FP 727 and it is 20" long overall. I have heard good things about spintech as well.
