I have the white/blue stripe wire of the msd box tied into a switch then into the trailer brake light harness. Dont have to cut or tap anything and its fused already. I believe the trailer brake light wire under the dash is a thin blue/green with white tracer for 07+ trucks and the harness is taped up in between the OBDII/ datalink connector and the ebrake pedal. The yellow wire goes to a switch then to the msd box.

Got it installed I tested all 6 wires on the brake light switch at the brake pedal...none gave me 12v. So I started thinking and I just ran a wire from the toggle switch to the wire that runs to the trailer hook up and it worked perfect. I could only set the 2 step to 2900 rpm before spinning tires. I built 5 psi at 2900 rpm

Yup i used the trailer brake wire because i hate splicing into the factory wiring lol. That and nowadays most electronics use ground signals along with 5v for stuff like tailights.

Yea man made it so much easier. I just stripped back a small section and soldered it and heat shrinked it
