A most interesting article on TVS vs KB Superchargers

Pat, the 2.8 is about an inch longer towards the back so some adjustments may be necessary. - you'll also need an 8 rib setup for the 2.5 inch pulley but you wont regret it - the sound is awesome - more of a deeper tone and 25lbs of boost on tap. Just the twin screw core will run you about 800.00 so cost wise not a bad upgrade for the money if you are willing to craft the inlets and outlets. The advantage of an off manifold setup is you can do all the intercooling you want; the 2 stage intercooler im building is starting to look promising. If I can get the IAT's down to around 50F then even 10lbs will rock!

I fabricated a set of inlets from the corvette kit, modified the existings outlets for an intercooler, ported some areas, and bought the 2.8L air pump from KB. You can do it all under 2K and have 800 ponies capability on tap if your bottom end can take it. Plus you need to be able to weld aluminum or have someone who can.

Its a blower grind.... I had a smaller cam in there before the engine blew a little bigger than yours, I haven't noticed any boost loss with the new cam
9.5lbs with a 3.125 pulley
The plan is to go with a 10% overdrive crank and 100mm TB and bigger MAF with 4" intake, If i dont get 13-15lbs with that il start workin on a 2.8 setup
