I would recommend staying with the newer vehicles like the Colorado/Canyon vehicles. When you get into the older vehicles like the TBI/Vortec trucks and SUVs the market of people who own them usually have less disposable income than people who own the newer vehicles.

Its nothing against people who buy older vehicles just that on average older platforms are owned by people with less mod money.

I agree with this. Also, the tuning options for the 96-97 trucks is limited. Colorado/Canyon would be good, cuz there is tunning for them. Plus it would be easy to build . My little brother just bought one, and he already wants me to build him one,

Also, I would finish your TT kit, Don't know if you have them all jigged up yet, but I think if you really got a good kit together, they would sell. Yes there is other people working on it, but I haven't seen anyone actually selling kits, just showing there prototypes. People don't really NEED TT kits, but EVERYONE loves the sound of it saying TT and the bling factor.

TT's are on the back burner, set to low right now. I do not see a need to b-uild them right now. The singles do the job quite well. The proto-type is done, and once I get the final dyno's with the 00 test truck and different downpipes, it may get the fire turned up on it.
Colorado/Canyon hmmmm which one the 4cyl, or 5cyl I do see a v8 option for the colorado, the Canyon maybe early 08.
96-99 no tuning option meaning what? limited controll tables.? it sucks not knowing how to tune efi. Give me a carb and a dist, and let it rip....lol

aren't there tons of the 96-99 or even the TBI's still floating that want More power?

im sure if you got a loaner and made a kit it be worth your time. Theres nothing out there for it and youd be the first to cash in. I know theres people screaming for it.

One of the only reasons I bought a NBS truck was because I wanted a turbo and couldn't find one for the 96.

What I'm talking about for tunning is that EFILive and HPTuners only do 98 and newer vortec trucks. The only other tuning software for the older truck is JET (formally TUNER CATS) and I think they only do 96+ and it isn't nearly as good. Again problem with older TBI trucks is, again with tunning, you have to burn chips, not real good or easy way to do them and they leak fuel around the TB shaft when you boost them and you can smell fuel. I turboed a 2.8 TB s-10 and tuning was my biggest problem. Had to use a rising rate FMU and it was a PITA.

There are dozens of S10 guys on Sforums.com piecemealing turbo systems together using TBird turbos and another turbo's they can find.

There are thousands of these trucks out there with hardly any performance support.
