Default Minor blower build

Has anyone built up an L92 yet with heads/cam and a TVS1900?

Just brain storming for 2010 really, but while I was considering only a TVS1900 and exhaust before calling it a day. However, seeing that some GMPP CNC L92 heads and a cam would add about $2,000 more to the project my mind started wondering...

So, it comes down to considering, TVS alone, heads & cam alone, or both. The TVS I believe will win out in terms of daily driving, but temptation is a hell of a thing. Curious if the added cost of doing heads and cam on top of the TVS1900 is worth the extra money for power gains or not.

I've been away from the truck scene for a long time, so those who actually know, I'd like to hear from you.

That's a possibilty, but mainly because I haven't researched it as much yet.

I'm sure it's already on here somewhere, but how is the lower rpm range of the 2300 vs the 1900?

all depends on what your looking for but the heads are great already. do a blower cam, tvs 1900, and full exhaust. will probably have all the truck you want for daily driving. dont forget the proper tune.

Agree on the heads. They are great as is. I'd skip the 1900 and go to the 2300 unless you get a "too good to pass up" bargain on the smaller blower. The 2300 will do everything the 1900 will do only better. It has room to grow and you can more easily get your money out of it at sales time.

I think Texas heat is more miserable than FL. Last time I was in San Antonio almost passed out due to the summer heat.
