Guess who got their intercooler today? No, silly, it was me. I got it on ebay from Turboworks. When I lifted the box into the house, I almost got a hernia. This thing weighs a ton! I wondered if I forgot to check in the ad if it was made out of aluminum. It is. It has cast tanks, I imagine they weigh a lot more than sheetmetal. Looks to be well-built. When the Chinese build all of their products like this and still sell them so inexpensively, they will become the richest country in the world (sooner than you think).
I put by the truck to show the size of it, it looks good in my living room for now, until the weather breaks again.

It's going where the condenser and radiator used to be, and they will be relocated closer to the engine, with electric fans.

It'll be painted black.

I'd like to invite you to look at the rest of the Mikegyver series. I'm sorry that this project is taking so long, maybe I should have waited and posted it all at once when it's finished. Besides, the paint will only be on the front surfaces.
