Pat, I should be home around Sept 15th from Korea. I still have 5 gal left, and I might be able to get some from my friends that run the Top Alcohol Dragster. He can't use any old fuel that has been stored in the garage, as it absorbs moisture from the air, and won't pass fuel check. Has to be 99.999% pure.

I run a local Race Gas shop's 100% Meth for the last 4 years without a problem. Runs about $3 a gallon. VP M1 is 100% Methanol. VP M3 is Methanol with a top end oil additive.
I talked to Julio a while back about running Ethanol with his pump. IIRC, 100% is fine but you can't use any pump ethanol (ie: E85, etc). Any amount of gasoline in teh ethanol will ruin the pump and seals in no time. Give him a call to confirm. He is a great guy to deal with and will answer all of your questions on the spot.

Any dirt tracks near you? A lot of those cars run on meth, as well as some drag cars. I get mine from a shop that runs a few cars at the local circle tracks, they sell me some from their own supply. Google some local tracks, check their websites and they probably have some local sponsors, start there, I'm sure something is around for ya.
Called all the local tracks, no luck. Local circle track only has it with top end lube. Did find a local Torco dealer that does have straight meth. He only has it in 55gal drums but he said he will break it up for me. I think Ill just get like 10gal. $3/gal

My truck has been down for months...just had the trans rebuilt (first rebuild in 5 years) and got it back in...but still have electrical problems. The TB harness seems to have a broken wire. Ordered some electrical parts to shorten and recrimp the harness since i have the x link and soem extra space to deal with.
As for meth kit pix...sorry, I dont have any. If i redid it, i would use a larger reservoir. the 1.33 gallons in the washer tank goes pretty quick.
Methanol off the gun in $3/gal here, too...but a 5 gal of VP will run $50. I put a splash (cap-full per 5/gallons) of top end lube in...talked to Julio...he doesnt seem concerned with such a low concentration.

thanks brother. Its getting there. Kinda off topic as well but at what point is meth required? More or less what IATs should I be concerned with? Also I'm seeing around 7 psi but will be going to a smaller pulley soon should I wait and pulley down when I have the meth kit to install? or would that be a tuning nightmare?
