Default meth tuning *timing*

i've been working on my tune here latley since i got the cam in. tuning the boost portion seems to be going good. i figured out a few little things that was bothering me. now i know when you run water/meth you can run more timing because of the cooler temps and the higher octane. but i have a question about that. when you run a flex fuel truck and you use the E85 the computer raises timing because its a slower burning less potent fuel than gas. (no?) so with that being said would it be true to say that while spraying meth you would need to raise timing some just to get to the same power level as non meth because it slows the burn. then you can add timing on top of that to take advantage of the higher octane and lower temps..?.

I think higher octant burns slower. I would just look at total advance and take it somewhere around 18ish.

no. You are running a very small percent. It will "allow" more timing by increasing octane. You will have to adjust your "mix" to get the AF right.

is there a way to tell how much timing you can add?

add .5* until you get KR and back it down a bit, but I'm no expert by any measure.
