I'm getting ready to have a custom tune on my 06 SS w/ Radix 2.8 pulley and 60 lb injectors. I just installed a snow meth kit, can you guys tell me what AFR to shoot for before the meth injection start? also would you tune with 50/50 or a 100% meth? if I were to tune it with a 100% meth but then decided to use 50/50 would that cause it to be lean, or tuning for 50/50 and then went to 100% would that cause it to be rich? tune it to what you are going to be running, do not guess at the outcome. I have used the 50/50 before with good results.

It seems that most people with the Radix get best results runnin 100% meth which is what I plan on doing if my Alky kit ever arrives.

How do you guys handle the tuning? Options I can think of are:
1. Two separate tunes. One with Meth, one without.
2. Keep your boost below the point when meth starts spraying for normal driving. i.e. Daily driven at 5 psi, raced at 9 psi, meth starts at 6 psi. Uses only one tune.
3. Run meth all the time. One tune, but uses lots of meth.

Note: I know little about forced induction and even less about meth, but I think I might need to learn more.

 

3) One tune. It doesn't really use tons of meth. A 5 gallon can will last me a couple of months. I'm not in boost all the time but i am at times, like pulling onto a highway or passing.
