yeah, I was going to ask you about that....no oil products per Julio. According to him, even traces reak havoc with the seals.

I wonder if the pump can be fitted with viton seals that would be oil safe

I'm ignorant to meth fueling, but why is top end lube needed if it is only supplementing gas fueling? Does the gas not provide valve/ring lubrication?

The pumps have already been re-built by Julio to be the only pump that I’m aware of that is compatible with 100% methanol, so I don’t know if the seals were changed again if they would still be 100% compatible.

I know nothing on meth. other than it's corrosive. That said, what's the reason you guys (that are) run top lube in the 1st place? Or at least the thinkin behind doin so?

Methanol is corrosive to metals, gaskets and seals. It’s hard on the valve guides and can cause cylinder bore wash, so people use a "top lube" in order to combat the corrosion and lubricate the various components.

My pump and resivoir is in place.. Wiring up boost switch today.. More info on top lube??
