Those are carb/FI intakes with www.intakeelbows.com -elbows.
I prefer Alky control kit's over snow by a long shot.Adjustability is better and the quality of parts. Ussually the kit's run around $600 and are well worth it.
8alting's truck will get one this winter since the snow kit hasn't even been run on the new motor.

where ever you put the nozzles you should put them in front of the iat so you can better take advantage of the meth. it will read lower iat;s from the meth going through it so it will in turn take away less timing .

hi just another question... and sorry for stealin the thread. what are the advantages and what exaclty are these carb/FI intakes? what do they do to help out and how much are they?
and another question? i hear alot about snow performance meth kits but not alot about these alky kits. whats better and will the water meth help my motor out when i put on the sts turbo kit? i have not one mod done to my motor and i dont want to blow it up so what do i have to do? i hear meth and nos will help out with keeping everything safe? is that true?

Mitch, you should do a search on Methanol on the forum, there's tons of info.
Basically Methanol injected as Chase desribed above will lower intake air temps which will make for a denser charge in the cylinder but more importantly will increase the octane of the fuel charge allowing increased timing.

the carb intakes arepretty cheap around 400 with rails, the advantage of them is flow , more even distribution of air, and they look cool to boot. do a search for vic jr lots of info.
