AlkyControll is my pick. Great kit and even better service.
Meth will increase octane and allow more timing, so yes.
Check the website for more info.

AlkyControl gets my vote also. I just installed the kit with ~6lbs and gained power. My truck is sideways now, it didn't really do that before. The power increase comes from the cooler iat's, and increased timing. If you tune the truck yourself, you will be amazed how much more timing you can dial in.

If your going to stop at 6 psi and never go any higher than you probably won't need it but we all know your gonna crank it up more than 6 psi and meth becomes more and more important the higher you start boosting. And even at 6 psi it helps.
As far as towing...you need a separate tune for that and hopefully get a duel stage to keep the boost lower than meth injection levels, at least that's how I did it.
Here's me towing at 3psi and no meth. Trip was 8 hours round trip in high altitudes and had no issues at all. I actually raced a fart cannon on that trip with the trailer and still smoked him, I was using the meth though when that happened.

What do you mean by a seperate tune for towing??
I want to run a tune that i can tow, race, and drive with.. i aint tryin to break any records.. just want it to be reliable and fun.

Well from what rick at STS has told me and I've seen a few members on here mention it as well...When you are towing and your constantly underload and under boost there's the potential for your hotparts and turbo to get too hot. Less of a problem with the STS as with the Trick but it's a problem with all turbo's. The different tune uses a different fuel managment I think. I think Trick can probably explain it alittle better. The boats and trailers I usually tow aren't too big or if they are I don't take them too far but I understand if your going up a steep mountain while under heavy load you can start seeing some problems. Hopefully someone who knows a bit more can chime in!
In any case call STS and ask or PM Trick, he's really helpful with anything turbo related.

I live in Mississippi.... whats a mountian?
jk..
I just want it to be capable of towing. The most i would tow would be a 16' Tandem axle trailer(~1500) with 4 4x4 atvs (~2400lbs). Estimate total of 4000lbs. no further than 50 miles one way. We have some small hills around here but nothing major.
