ok so i installed my meth kit and still have KR at 17*. 15 or below no KR just like before. using wwf and a m15 jet. it took me down about .5 afr so adjuste for that.

 

What kpa level, What is your IAT's?

 

and just so ya know...if you are running 100% meth and it only changed your afr by .5....that's hardly any meth to make a difference. You need to see some real afr drop. What motor? compression is really my question.

 

i'll post a log at lunch for kpa and iat. i was running windshield washer fluid. so around 30% meth. and motor is a bone stock 5.3. only mod is turbo and stall. i'm new to the whole meth thing so if there is more to know inlighten me please. oh and cobalt 2bar sensor is on its way (thanks torquewrench)

i'll try to get some pics of everything. i installed the iat sensor where the older trucks had the egr. seemed like a nice place for it. i drilled a hole and mounted/glued a coper 3/8 nut thing in there and screwed the sensor in. the iat run alittle warmer there i did notice that. but i think iat were in the 70's with meth on in boost.

 

 

windshield washer fluid is not 100% meth. Go to a racing fuel dealer and buy your meth from them.

 

i know WWF is not 100% meth, i just don't know where to go to get striaght meth. i'm pax river maryland. i don't want to drive 50miles to get the stuff that would defeat the prupose.

 

what about Denatured alcohol? the guy that had this kit before me used it. octane looks to be higher and he said you can get it at lowes.

oh and not sure of KPa as i only have 1bar sensor at the moment.

 

Race fuel suppiers will have it, most speed shops will too. Get the real deal, 5 gallons of Meth lasts me like 3-5 months....I drive 35 miles for it.

 

$5.88 a gallon at mir is that good or bad?
