Default Meth Inj. pump-cracked top

Anyone try to repair a cracked plastic top thats on the meth inj. pump?
Mine didn't crack right away after install but must have had the fittings too tight because it didn't take long. Tried an epoxy plastic repair that lasted for awhile, then some urathane, lasted a week. Don't know why they would even use a plastic top on an aluminum body pump! Snow will sell me a replacement pump for 80 bucks or so if I send a copy of my receipt. It keeps draining the tank so might have to pony up the $80.00

There is no question here. Buy the new pump and don't mess with the cracked top.

I agree, too much risk between your tune relying on the meth and the flamable liquid leaking while driving the truck.

Are you using a Shur-flo pump for that? If so, plastic male fittings have to be used with those housings. Brass willl crack them due to the difference in expansion rate.
