You are better off with doing a alky control meth kit and run primarily on e85 if that is your goal. E85 is much more manageable than methanol. Ive made 1000rwhp on pump 93 and meth, albeit with 2x14gph nozzles at pretty much full blast, so your goal is doable without completely converting to alcohol.
