meth & brake stall boost

Default meth & brake stall boost

i can build about 10psi of boost on the line. is it ok for the meth to activate while doing so? will it make it too rich? mine pulses with the injector pulse width after 4psi. being that i have 60's the pulse width is rather low. so, what do people do with meth while brake stalling boost at the track? i haven't been to the track with the meth yet.

I cant imagine building 10lbs boost while brake stalling, crap I push right thru the brakes just getting into boost.

hydro boost with 2 piston calipers all the way around. hell my rear rotors ar 13"s. stock and being awd helps too. 7psi is about all it can hold for along time but it can very breifly hold 10psi.

WOW... i cant even get close to boost before mine pushs the front brakes..
AWD must be nice!!!

10 psi launch must be intense. The only thing I can think of about spraying the meth during a brake stall is you might not have as much flow through the intake, not sure what this would do to atomization and distribution of the methanol. IMO, major brakestalls are not good in general

here is a log. can't remember how much boost it was but my 60's were at 40% and and the maf was at 40lb's + right before launch. i think this one i got crazy torque steer.

i just stand on the brakes and push the pedal down until i feel i try to push. usually 7psi ish. wife tried it and she couldn't hold the brakes and it launched on her.

I have been thinking about the building boost while stalling issue. I cant See any boost before i push the tires. Just outta curiosity where is your boost gauge refernced too. Sorry for the hijack.

I dont see much advantage of meth that early, unless ur IAT begin to creep that fast.

It shouldn't be a major issue but why would you be running it. The IAT2's can't be that high until you get down track a little bit. I would hold back on the meth at the very least until the truck left.

if you look at the passenger side of the manifold there is a nipple that has casting on the end of it. i broke off the casting and used that spot for all my turbo refference parts ie: wastegate bov and boost gauge.
