Default Metco pulleys installed in place of Radix idlers

Well, thanks to Frank @ Revolution Race Works getting me my idler pulley spacer in time, i was able to get my 100mm metco pulleys installed over the weekend. Everything was really easy and the install went smooth. Only two things that i need to mention. First, i didn't expect to have to use a longer belt, but i had to go from my 110.5" Gatorback to a 111.5" Gatorback. LUCKILY, i had one already sitting in my garage. the 110.5" belt WOULD NOT go on even with the idler pulley slid all the way up and the tensioner wide open. Did anyone else have this issue? Second, the first few WOT runs i did, i got MAJOR belt slip and belt dust everywhere! it now seems to be holding ok, so maybe the belt just needed broken in? don't know, would like some opinions from you guys on this. thanks.

I did mine this weekend as well. Although I was able to get my 111.0" back on. So I am 1/2" shorter, no slip issues here!!

is it normal that a new belt is gonna slip real bad like that? or do you think its slipping because i have the longer belt on there?
