Default MBRP Duramax exhaust on 1500 Silverado

Wondering if anyone has done this?
mbrp S6026P
Modified the 4" straight through system to work on a RCSB?
Are any of the hangers in the right place?
Are the pipes heavy compared to oem?
Mine is a single turbo...
Thanks
Dom

The muffler that comes with that kit is useless. As loud as straight pipe basically

I would also like to know. I am considering an MBRP system and trading out the muffler for a 20" magnaflow.

Order one to match your year.
The clamps are universal and very easy to modify.
The 4" pipe is a close fit between the cross frame section and the bottom of the floor.
I added 1 support strap right behind the cab are to help support the weight. It's a long run from the down pipe to the first stock clamp.
Sound has a nice rumble to it, and if you have any resonating going on you can a simple add J pipe post muffler to remove that.

Another thing I did was oval the 4" pipe in tight areas to gain more clearance.

Didn't compare weight.
Coming off the down pipe the first hanger is at the bed. So from turbo to that point was to far for my liking. So I added one hanger. Simple rubber exhaust type hanger. Thing it was 4.00 at oriellys.

What I don't like about the kit is the clamps are old school U bolt type. So once tightened its very difficult to get the pipes back apart if you ever ha we to drop it.
