buddys been running 18lbs springs and hardened pr's for 3 yrs no issues and it gets beat on pretty good.

cam wont know the difference. springs are just to help the vavles stay shut when all that air is trying to push them open.

Guys will put ARP head studs in to keep from stretching the stock head bolts with high boost.

yeah i know about the head studs i was wondering what he was getting at. Then he was saying to just buy heads.. Heads are $500 a piece screw that.

buy one of those tools and a compression checker.. use a air compressor and compression tester to hold the valves up.
its not hard at all to do. just make sure to get a good magnet and a bowl/cup/ something to put the retainers and such in.
