Hmm...maybe i need to look into a shield and cone filter!

I also found this...its a 30° which will even everything out and its flexy a bit...just not sure about the length

And Tim I had no idea yours was a 4.5" intake... pretty cool.

thanks to a few friends at Cold Air Inductions i used an air box from a SS silverado.
Since the pic i went to better clamps and a better rubber elbow than the one pictured

the box looks killer.

I can't tell if its just a reflection but the angle of the tube still looks slightly off.

i got two 4" humps if you are interested $20 shipped... i think that aluminum tube can be used if cut in the right places

I been good guys, thanks...

Working on this thing as much as i can, and when i can, its winter...and our michigan winters arent the warmest...about 5 degrees here today...

So far the intake is working pretty good...when it comes to dyno time might throw in the 4" card style MAF...but for now its working pretty good...

wasnt expecting much and i cant say i gained anything from going to the new tube vs the stock maggy intake tube.

Part of that may be your MAF. Teh air will only flow as fast as its biggest restriction will let it. The card MAF may uncork it.
