Just bought the truck and seens to run great but I have a few questions. Sorry they might be stupid! First one is at Idle the charger seems to be making a noise like a lack of lubrication. And the other is that I asume that the intercooler is for antifreeze but does this really work well to cool down the air or just the charger? btw07 nnbs 5.3 radix

 

The reservoir is for the water to air intercooler. Can you post up a video of the noise at idle?

 

Damm hope everything is o.k,try to put a video of the truck to hear it.

 

I guess you guys are saying they shouldn't make any kid of weird noises a idle?

 

yup cause mine doesnt,AND I HOPE THEY DONT HAVE TO BE OILED.

 

Is it blower slap, like a knocking noise? Or is it a squeeling kind of noise? Like mentioned a video would be nice.

 

I am saying that it should be relativity quiet at idle. Have you noticed if the bypass actuator was working or not?

They come with oil in the nose.

 

Sorry I really don't know about the radix but will learn quick. How do I check the acuator?

almost sounds like a dry bearing but it is up top on the charger it sounds . they truck still drives fine but the noise just makes me nervous.
