Seen plenty of post on gearing running turbos but not many on SC.
I'm running a L9H, 80e, LS9, 1-7/8" headers with 32.8" tires for a DD that I occasionally tow with and do 60-70% city driving should I gear any differently than being N/A vs FI on this setup and usage? current gear is 3.42 and would have long ago swapped to 4.56 if I didn't already install the Maggie and cam.

 

I ran 4.10 gears with 28" drag radials. Don't fear the gear.

 

Back when I had my Maggie, I ran 4.56's with a 31.9 tall tire and 80e. I thought it was a pretty good combo. I actually would be more inclined to run a gear with a supercharger than I would with a turbo.

 

I run 4.10 gears with 33" tires. It's fun.

 

I run 4.33 Gears with a 4L80 and 32.4 tall tire. I love it

 

i run 4.56 with a 35" tire... it's fun and amazing to tow.

BUT... i wish i went with a 4.10 since i mostly do highway driving and tow less than 10% of the time now
