Default MAf turbo

I spoke to someone about maf. It seem to me confuse about turbo run with maf and some people run no maf. I dont know how it work without MAF if I really need to rid off maf when I have turbo? Is there anyone can explain me a little clear. I heard that Allen Nelson cant tune without maf?

Slow down a bit, one thing at a time eh?

You don't need a MAF if you are Speed Density tuned. Just order your kit and enjoy installing it.

Well I could buy Speed Density BUT how can I tune. Cause Nelson probably wont do that. I paid him to tune my pcm for lifetime. It was hptuner. I tried to find website for speed density. How can I find it?

I had my pcm programmed with the Maf and now its SD. You'll need to buy additional parts but very inexpensive. Only thing is SD tune has to be done real time...meaning no mail order tuning...so it will be hard for Allan to do your SD tune

He has nothing right now. It's just a stock truck with a tune. I'm all about asking questions, but he has about 10 threads going right now about different things and it gets kind of frustrating, most of those threads are stuff that gets covered daily too.

if Nelson tuneed your truck he can retune it for the turbo. Also you don't need to go speed density for what your wanting to do. im still running my MAF with over 10 psi. Just call Allen @ Nelson and tell him what your plans are and he will retune it for you.
