that's what I'd say. Your idle maf regions have been screwed with. yeppers...what zip said.

I have pulled a p0101 code several times which is MAF performance/out of range. Code usually comes up after a WOT run. Half the time it idles just great others really bad. I even stall sometimes cruising through a parking lot or making really tight turns creeping along or if I have to stop suddenly. rpm's jumping all over the place from 600 to 100 to 300 like it is trying to find the right place. I cleaned the maf, still the same . I even replaced the maf due to the code I thought it might be defective. still the same . I cleaned the TB like three times just to make sure. Ever since I changed the pulley I have had the maf issue.

That's a calibration problem if I were betting on it.

I am taking it back to the tuner to check things out. I know most people here have no major issues with the MAF just checking though.

there's lots of tuning questions to be had here. Has your tuner adjusted the maximum delta airflow table which helps set the limits for the p0101? How about IAC, just plain idle airflow tables? Unless you have a nasty cam keep idle tables stock IMO.

MAF is my prefered method... get that tune fixed and it'll be fine

If its maxing out at WOT and high RPM.. then you need a bigger maf or switch to SD.

Bigger MAF would be my first choice.
