Did you use an Lt4 MAP sensor With the harness? Did you tune it yourself or have someone do it for you? I’ve got most of my stuff to do the swap, I’m just trying to get everything else squared away.

yes I used the lt4 tmap sensor #12644807. I had someone make the necessary changes in the tune. There's alot to change, I wouldn't know where to start lol. Let me know if you have any other questions. Feel free to pm me.

I am doing the LT 4 supercharger swap at the moment my biggest question is how did you plug the hole in the bottom of the supercharger or how did you create it to where you could connect a tube to it to tie into the vents on the valve covers

Whatever you do, don’t tie it into the valve cover pcv system. It will create a vacuum leak. Ask me how I know :0 . As for blocking it off, I just found a number for a grommet that fit that port. Then I ran a 90 degree elbow, and blocked it off. I’ll see if I can track down that number for the grommet.

ok, the pcv grommet I used was Dorman number 42330. It fits pretty good. I just ran a 90 degree elbow, and then blocked it off. I’m sure there’s other ways to do it, but this seemed to work good for me.

so you have not had any vacuum leaks on the bottom of the supercharger by doing it that way

nope, it doesn’t suck air at that location, it pushes it out. But I still didn’t have any air leaks. I used a high heat silicone around the grommet when I installed it, as a just in case. Im sure there’s other ways to block it, but this worked for me. I no longer have the supercharger on the truck, so i can’t speak for long term, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t hold up.

it wasn’t quick enough for me, and I missed having a manual. I was also having issues keeping my IAT’s down. I could have switched to a bigger tank, better pump, etc. but I decided to just remove it, sell it, and buy an ls1 F-body.
