Someone told me that you need to do the DOD AFM delete to do this blower. He said anything past moderate boost levels will burn valves stuff like that. I never see edelbrock slp Magnusson or any of those companies including delete kits or saying anything about that with the install. Is he right? Stock pulley so like 8.25 lbs would I be fine keeping the stock cam?

Its a good idea, especially with as many issues as there are with dod lifters etc, and that much air being forced into engine with inactive cylinders wouldnt be good.....

My tune has had dod deleted for so long I didn't even think I had it. If it's shut off electronically is there still an issue?

Wouldnt think so....my understanding is the dod lifters cutting on and off is what kills them, i would still at very least wanna swap a cam in it, what engine do you have anyway???

I would still ,for peace of mind, delete the dod mechanically.... Just due to the failure rate of the lifters and fact the lobes on the cam are different for the afm lifters vs the standard lifters.....
