i'm doing the same thing on my 08. went a different route on the brackets. i put an alternator/ps relocation kit from ls simple, and ran a 060905 belt, and everything is routed perfectly and appears to have quite a bit of belt wrap on the blower itself.

I'm getting 13lbs on my 5.3l with a 2.5". Stock was 8.5lbs and 2.85" was close to 10lbs on a cool day. I only used the adapters off eBay and moved the alt and ps pump. Did mine in about 5 hours from start to finish.

Stock lsa map worked flawlessly. You need to find a different tuner. Only thing he need to do was change the map offsets. Very simple.

You said in the very beginning of your post that the market is flooded with these LSA blowers that the dealers take off. I believe you, but I am curious how you went about getting yours? I've seen them for sale on various forums but I'm not sure how to get a used one from a dealer??

nipple right behind throttle body, run a hose from the nipple to the back of the driver rear valve cover, then run a hose from your air intake tube to the nipple on the passenger side valve cover
