I wouldn't worry about the flow characteristics of the stock manifolds since your not dealing with reversion or scavenging. When dealing with Hot parts on F/I builds flow has very little to do with performance. The biggest restriction in any turbo set-up is the turbo itself, anything upstream of the turbo is moot unless your building a set of hot parts to maximize pulse timing, etc...

The stock truck manifolds have actually shown to be one of the stronger methods of building a decent and reliable Turbo system.
