Default loosing boost on the magnacharger

Can anyone help with my friends magnacharger. He is losing boost at hi rpm bur regains it after the truck shifts to another gear. Why is he losing boost.

Balancer spinning on the crank, if so buy a crank pin kit. OR Belt slipping, if so buy a HD tensioner.

Well I just find out that he didn't pin his balancer. So we r gonna try all of that and see what happens

What engine? What boost is it making and then dropping to and at what rpm?

6.0L and 4lbs of boost drops to 0u and about 6000rpmsu then he shifts and it comes back up

more than likely you have a weak bypass actuator. There were a few of these systems released with the wrong one.
