Yup, I saw that.. and after the headers and Blower they still only made 330Hp.

 

I thought going from 202rwhp to 335rwhp was pretty good

besides, you can always pulley down

 

Ya, that truck didn't make good power for the money they put into it, of course they fail to mention that.
Tune, cai, header, catback, that was pretty good, something like 202hp --> 242hp, somewhere around there.
Then they added the blower, final power was from 242hp, not 202hp or that would have been pretty darn good.
Of course those big *** 22's didn't help, but you don't look at peak power, just the gain.
I think a lot of stock 5.3L's are around that power output with no catback and headers.
The kit was a nice setup though,

i have known for a while they were going to be putting out blowers but didnt know if it was going to happen for sure. they were going to do a gm kit too but i heard that was dropped.

 

I like the guys face after the 2nd dyno run. He's like "Huh, that's better" But his face is saying "What a f'in waste of time, my Chevy makes more than that stock" LOL

 

Isn't this nothing more than a Magnuson rebadge? I mean I like Banks... don't get me wrong. Installed one of their Sidewinder turbo upgrades to my Dad's 89 F250 Diesel 10 years ago. Damn, their kit woke up that truck. But I'm just not a big fan of rebadge... give credit where its due I say... buy in rights (money) doesn't cut it with todays croud...

 

banks stuff always sucks, only their turbo upgrades and intercooler upgrades are worth anything, other than that they're useless.

All the shows ive watched they are only doin stuff to Fords... like that Regular cab or extended cab... whatever it was... they put a blower and stuff like that and it only ran a 15.2..
