Question Looking for turbo info

Starting the planning phase of going force induction, just haven't made up my mind if I want to do a single front mount or twins. I like the idea of twins, but I'm a noob when it comes to boost.

Can you guys point me to good links and info so I can study up on what I'm going to need and what it's going to help me make up my mind on how I'm going to go with my build. I rummaged through this section of the forum and found a few things, but I'm figuring there is much more out there.

Search the forced induction for threads about turbo setups, also the projects section. There are tons of them on here, the best thing you can do is just start reading. KBRacing, Trick, and Nelson build nice kits. You don't need twins, they just make for a neater setup.

Exactly what he said. Just read, read, and read some more. Look at turbo build threads. I decided around November I was going to turbo my truck. I started researching then. I went to the forced induction section and have literally read almost every thread having to do with a turbo, I've read through over 50 pages of threads. ls1tech has a ton of info too. Read people's signatures to see what they have, and compare to what your goals may be.

With the turbo choices you havevthere us no real reason to go twins except they are really cool looking.

It really depends in you your budget and the end results.

We offer several different levels of kits. Let me know if I can help you with anything.

Thanks Rick.

What I want is something that would spool quick say around 2000rpms to 6000ish. I'm also trying to figure out the supporting equipment (i.e. Injectors, fuel requirements, hot parts....) How turbo type and sizing work? (bearing types, ar sizing, air flow tables, ..) My plans are to run about 10psi at the moment and down the road forge the internals and turn up the boost.
