Default A long ways to go, but some pics for you guys(you like pics right?)

The truck:2000 sierra with 370ci 6L and some goodies. I also converted from the A4 over to the T-56. I figured you would like to see some progress ive SLOWLY made this year.
This is my first try at hand forming collectors, so dont be too mean. I think they turned out ok.

Like I said ive got a ways to go like moving coolant lines, extending my downpipe)its further away from the last turbo headers I had on it and just havent gotten to it yet. I should be making the rest of my intake plumbing as soon as my aluminum bends show up.

What do you guys think? comments? suggestions? My goals are 800rwhp on pump gas.

+1 That looks great so far. The collectors look good too, what did you use to form them?

I made the pattern out of aluminum, and then started rolling it out over a big peice of tubing. (6inches wide,1/4"thick) after I got them close I cut each side down to the exact length so it looked like a cone with both ends cut off. then welded up 4 peices of roll cage tubing I had in my garage to simulate the 4 primary tubes. Then beat in the sides to form what you see as the collector. You can get these style collectors from jegs for 20-30 bucks but this was a pretty good learing experience for me. It probably took 6 hours to do 2 collectors. I can do them ALOT faster now, especially with the pattern, and a jig.

Awesome fab work...I'm curious too about how you formed the collectors.

That's cool you built the collectors from scratch, its all good experience. Do you have any brackets supporting the turbo?

no brackets yet. its so far away from the motor im having a hard time figuring out a way to make it a clean install. I was thinking about going to the radiator support since I have solid motormounts but It probably still moves too much to do that. Thanks for the support guys. I took a **** load of pics so far, but not many of the collectors. I wish I did more.
