Default Log manifold - plug wire protectors?

Those with KB, Trick, or similar log style manifolds, are you using spark plug boot protectors on the log side wires? If so, what brand did you go with?

I'll be wrapping my hot pipes, and didn't know if boot protectors will be needed as well, or if there is enough room for the wires to survive.

I have them on the front 2 under the turbo since I already had them but don't think they are necessary

Taylor 10mm GTO wires and stock vette heat sheild tubes. No issues in 4k miles on my KB PT88 system. Ran the same stuff on my old crewcab with a MP70 for over 20k miles no issues.

I ran my kit for about a year without them with no issues. When I put the new plug wires on I bought a set of wire protectors just in case. More of a piece of mind more than anything else I guess.

I have my hot pipes wrapped but I put on (4) DEI wire protectors just in case. I would say I have at least 6k miles on them without a problem.
