Question LJMS Stage 1 vs Stock48 Triple12

Lil Johns Turbo Stage 1 = 222/226 .602/.571 113+3

Stock48's Triple 12 = 212/212 .561/.561 112lsa

I think both are going to make great power but which would idle at low stockish rpm and smoother?

Ive been thinking about this for a while and I need a decision. With a cam along with the reg drivetrain upgrades, my goal would be to get another 100 hp with an over all of 600 wheel on 93 fuel and no meth. Both John and Jarrett have talked to me about their cams and both seem like great guys. The new Race 4 inch intercooler from Trick would also be on the list to keep the iat as down as possible.

I can jump on the dyno to compare both but I honestly think that is a bit far fetched. An engine dyno would be easier but I dont have one or another 5.3 to test them with.

Is 212/212 on a 112 thus why called triple 12


As for answer go with true triple 12

ahh yes i had a typo with the 12 lol

ive chatted with John about his cam and results from other mild 5.3s. I mean he blasts some people on fb ( batwheel ) but to me he was a solid dude. Well thanks for the inputs guys, thats why I posted here.

Just go with the triple 12. The question about which will idle better is kinda obvious.

Look, I don't know anything specific about LJMS or their product. However, I've seen the cycle over and over and over again over the years on these forums. Start up your business/product, market the hell out of it as the latest and greatest, get a couple board members to back it up, buy a forum sponsorship and boom. Try AES for just 1 example.

It's a matter of preference sounds like you want stock type idle you should go with the tripple 12, but the little john cam on say a 115/116lsa will likely not have any lope, a light chop if anything. If that's what your after

A triple 12 isn't going to have a stock like sounding idle in a 5.3.

You can even pretty clearly tell that the 6.0 is cammed with a triple 12.
