Default List your dyno numbers, 1/4 mile times.

I'm trying to figure out what kinda power I'm making. I have a 2002 silverado 1500 Extended cab. I haven't been on a chassis dyno but been down the track multiple times. My weight is as close to stock as I can imagine. My spare has been removed, but also added weight with the 80e, turbo components and the 6.0. Don't imagine the 6.0 added much weight though. My truck ran low 11's at 123. 20lbs boost and 13 degrees timing. ethanol.

Reason I'm interested in knowing others power levels with times is because I'm planning on refreshing the shortblock. Not sure if I should spend the money on a mild built shortblock or just do another stockish rebuild. I'm on gen 3 parts now with arp rod bolts.

Its tempting to build up a good short block but also tempting to just install new bearings and look over everything. Currently have some concerns with bearings. I've been getting alot of miss information on having to resize the big end of connecting rods when installing arp bolts. Machine shop says theres a provision somewhere that says you don't have to resize them. If I do get a shortblock built, I don't want bearings getting wiped out because I used arp bolts.

Weight is a huge factor in this equation.

3.73 gears. I’ve never weighed the truck, but has to be as heavy as stock if not a little more. I looked at the time slip and showed 11.34 at 123. Coming out of the hole I could feel my rear tires slightly spinning and I also let out for a split second on the big end because I couldn’t feel the 2-3 shift, letting it go ahead shift into 3rd. After the run I checked the log and it did shift fine, it was just the converter.

10.8@124 on my only shakedown pass on the turbo setup. 15psi boost, 93+Meth

my truck is 5800lb with little under half tank of fuel without anyone in it.

780 is a pretty good possibility. The et confirms you let off. Could've ran 11 teens possibly.

The time is probably so much better than his because you have all four wheels helping the state of your mass to change from stationary to being in motion.
But then again we don't know if the OP is 4WD or not.

AWD typically mph a bit lower for the same ET. More drivetrain loss. It’s been faster then that at the same boost but I don’t have a slip so.... gotta get this 2300 stall loosened up so I can get my 60ft down some more.

Thanks for replies guys. This at least gives me an idea on power. Hopefully I can keep the engine alive for another season. I keep rpms around 6,000 to hopefully save the rods. Im sure I could raise that a bit and get a little faster but I’ll try boost first.
