Default Leaking oil under boost

I have really enjoyed my front mount playing aroud on the street, but last friday I tried to take it to the track and it set an o2 code and started leaking oil whenever I get into boost. I have cleaned it and checked it and the oil dipstick area stayed clean. The back of the oil pan or rear main seal maybe. I have not verified the oil sending unit is ok yet. It will stay clean if I stay out of boost. I have searched and read the other threads. I have the pvc valve gutted with a filter on it and a filter on the passenger side fitting on the top of the valve cover.

Do I need a filter on the oil cap and or a ls6 valley plate?
Time to do a compression and leak down test?
Any advice at this point?

Better do a leakdown test, you might have nipped a piston. Another way to check is pull the breather and rev it up, or put under slight load and see how much blow by you have. If something is wrong you should know right away. Just be careful not to run yourself over.

Could be a turbo taking a poop as well.. we see that all the time here at work, we have an isolation cart to allow us to isolate the oiling system on the turbos from the rest of the engine allowing us to see if it is a power cylinder failure or a turbo failure.. More often than not however it seems to be a power cylinder....

I sure hope you are wrong Jarett, Rodney would sell his truck to a teenage girl if he had to pull that motor out!

I have to fix it one way or the other JB. Bad thing is this is my DD so i'll have to pull the engine once for the get me by motor and then again when the forged one is done. If that girl brings cash its hers tho!

The truck still runs really smoothe under daily use and there is no pressure pushing out of either valve cover if I rev on it. Wonder if the rear main is just really weak and can only hold a little bit of pressure. I will leak down check it by middle of next week.

I pulled the lil 2.5" inspection cover and the converter and the bottom of the bell housing were dry. I did recently pull the oil pan to drill it. Maybe the back of the oil pan is just leaking. I'll let yall know when I know.

Look at the entire intake and PCV system. I blew out a valve cover gasket because I forgot to remove some lines. Since there was no check valve, I pressurized the entire crank case when I went into boost.
I know you have probably done this, but just checking.

Pulled the oil pan and I can see the bottom rings on the #5 piston. Looking @ options now. busted bottom piston was why is was pushing out of the bottom of the engine.
