Default Launching under boost, Brakes will not hold.

The more I tune the trans torque converter to slip less during lock-up, the less amount of boost I can buld before my brakes are overpowered.
Acording to my G-tech my best 60' time is 1.92, wich I'm very happy with but in order to cut that low of a number the truck's brakes are under a huge amount of strain (sp) and the truck is hard to keep in one place for very long.
I think I rember F8l Z71 and parish talking about abs comeing on and letting the truck roll, but I'm not sure.
Also I would think upgrade brakes and rotor would help me too right?

You can get more braking power by doing the TY Shuflle. Drop the truck inot neutral, rev it while pressing on the brake, let it idle back down then go back into D. You can feel the pedal drop a bit more. The extra vacuum generated gives the brake booster more power that you can hold.

I was up to 6psi and about 3600 rpm without the 2-step and when I let off it was still building boost. A 2-step will solve your problem.

Cause you need everything you can get to build boost when you have the turbo at the wrong end of the vehicle.

from what I understand, a 2step is some sort of device which cuts ignition to certain cylinders, and somehow puts the motor under a load, which creates boost.

So its a 2 step rev-limiter? Why do you need two steps? What's the second one for? Why not just get a transbrake?
