Just ordered today the 04-05 Cadilac CTS-V heat exchanger for my truck today. Hoping to just fab up some brackets, move the hoses and add coolant. Anyone else done this on similar truck? Any issues or advise? Thanks

 

No, but pictures PLEASE!! I am interested. I have a little bigger aluminum one, but I want to go bigger.

I will definately do pics, but will be a couple weeks till it is here and installed. Don't forget mine is a HD, so it has a factory 1.5" or so body lift. This of course gives me more room and more air to get to heat exchanger.

 

whats the dimension on the larger heat exchanger???

 

Same width and thickness as normal radix exchanger, but double the height. Old one is 24x7x1/1/8" and new is 24x14x1/1/8". Slightly different hose barb configuration too, but whatever...

 

I am also interested let us know how it works out.

 

New heat exchanger is here, yippy!! Now to find time to install it. Wish me luck!
